Live Show for Families: The Nutcracker (in a Nutshell) presented by the YMCA Calgary
Dec. 5th-14th 2025 @ 10:30am & 12:30 pm
The YMCA presents this whirlwind holiday favorite for children 0-6 and their grown-ups. Join Clara, the Rat King, the Nutcracker Prince and Sugar Plum Fairy for this fun show. Waltz of the Flowers interactive workshops follows the performance.

Join Bach Tots at the Calgary Public Library on March 20 as we celebrate World Day of Theatre for Children and Youth with a joyful, family-friendly workshop performance of Living on the Wedge!
This special pay-what-you-can event welcomes families with young children to experience an early peek at our newest show, premiering in full on April 4 & 5, 2026.
Registration is required, but tickets are available by donation, making it an accessible and magical outing for all. ​

Different worlds, one whiskered journey!

Join the adorable duo of mice as they navigate life on the wedge in a charming house filled with challenges and surprises.
In this delightful show, two resourceful mice learn to tackle day-to-day obstacles while living alongside a watchful cat.
​Through their adventures, they explore themes of privilege and the importance of collaboration, showing that by working together, we can create a more equitable world. ​
